VST products are built to meet the regulatory requirements of defense, federal, and critical infrastructure customers. Active certifications are maintained and documented. Several certifications are currently in progress — government timelines being what they are.

ITAR Registered
International Traffic in Arms Regulations
VST is registered with the Directorate of Defense Trade Controls. All VST hardware is ITAR-controlled. Export, re-export, and transfer of VST products requires compliance with ITAR regulations.

NDAA Compliant
National Defense Authorization Act Section 848
All VST platforms are manufactured in the United States and are free of components from covered foreign entities as defined under NDAA Section 848. Full component-level documentation available on request.

EAR Compliant
Export Administration Regulations
VST software and dual-use technology components are classified and controlled under the Export Administration Regulations. All exports are reviewed for EAR compliance prior to release.

Aerospace Quality Management System
AS9100 is the internationally recognized quality management standard for aerospace and defense manufacturers. Certification audit in progress. Expected completion Q4 2026.

ISO 9001:2015
Quality Management Systems
ISO 9001 establishes the criteria for a quality management system. Certification is being pursued in parallel with AS9100. Expected completion Q4 2026.

Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification
CMMC Level 2 covers the protection of Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI). Assessment in preparation. VST systems are architected to meet CMMC Level 2 requirements.

Blue UAS Framework
Defense Innovation Unit Blue UAS Cleared List
The Blue UAS framework vets commercial drone platforms for DoD procurement. VST is pursuing Blue UAS clearance for the VST-05, VST-07, and VST-13 platforms. Evaluation in progress.

FIPS 140-2
Federal Information Processing Standard — Cryptographic Modules
FIPS 140-2 validation covers cryptographic modules used in VST software and data links. Validation testing underway through the Cryptographic Module Validation Program.
